Blogging Ramadan: day 8

We had a foreign visitor today. We served refreshments for them but I suppose because the rest of us were fasting and they were aware of it, they seemwd a little uncomfortable taking the refreshments. I think that can be considered one of the awkward moments in fasting. Your non-Muslim friends sometimes feel awkward drinling and eatong around you, especially the respectful ones.
If you are in the company of a fasting Muslim, there is no need to feel awkward taking your refreshments. You may actually doing him or her a favoir. Think of it this way, you'll be providing him with temptation.
