I wrote a column in the New Straits Times, called "Voices in my Head". When the editor asked why that title, I told him that it was from a lecture on psychological illnesses. Everybody has voices in their heads. The problem is not the presence of the voices but the power they have over you. Most people only debate what they want to have for lunch with these voices. Some ... well. I'm sure you watch TV too.
Eid ul mubaraq everyone. Ramadan is over and Eid is here: one of the two holidays is Islam.
Today we celebrate our return to fitrah after a month of cleansing our souls of the evils of our own doing. A fresh start and we again strive to remain true Muslims.
So. To one and all. Eid mubaraq.
