Learning a new word.
Sibrah - celupan: immersion. The process of obtaining the spirit of religion.
That is what Ramadan is supposed to do.

You know how we hear a lot about Islamophobia among the Westerners, particularly Americans? Well, I heard the most ignorant side of this today.  Before I elaborate, let me just say that I have many American friends and they are generally fine, upstanding decent and intelligent people.
Today, I watched this video on youtube. It had some guy on it warning Americans that Islam wants to take away their pork and beer.
Now, why on earth would Islam, or more specidically Muslims wants to take away their pork and beer? Islam forbids both of them to Muslims, it says nothing about others eating pork and drinking beer. So, I can't see the connection at all unless of course they were to become Muslims because then they would be forbidden from eating and brinking them too but this guy wasn't thinking of becoming a Muslim, so eat away and drink till you drop for all we care. Heck, we'll even sell you the spices to cook the meat and the cutlery to eat it with if you want.
These kind of people give Americans a bad name. All the achievements of intelligent and hard-working Americans become overshadowed when non-Americans hear this kind of nonsense coming from Americans like this guy. So sad, so sad.
