Among the Believers

Among the believers there is no malice,

no symbols of status, pride and avarice,

no hatred of colour, skin or creed

Among the believers there is only love,

love of knowledge, thought and learning.

Love of speech in truth and patience.

Love of the light that erases ignorance.

Among the believers there is no fear.

No violence in the name of honor

No rage in blind fervor

Walk among the believers and you will be greeted with warmth for there is only acceptance.

We are all equal in nature but made different by sins, knowledge and repentance.

I long to be among the believers.
