The worst place to have a writer's block
Sitting at a table in the Starbucks at Kuching airport. I have 4 hours to wait, and internet access but when I try to write, inspiration decides to abandon me. Alas.
I wrote a column in the New Straits Times, called "Voices in my Head". When the editor asked why that title, I told him that it was from a lecture on psychological illnesses. Everybody has voices in their heads. The problem is not the presence of the voices but the power they have over you. Most people only debate what they want to have for lunch with these voices. Some ... well. I'm sure you watch TV too.
