Kuala Lipis revisited
The day after the recent dramatic Malaysian elections, I found myself in Kuala Lipis, Pahang. A tiny town in the middle of the Titiwangsa range. I was to teach a group of teachers who are doing their degrees. Its a special program for teachers teaching in the deepest reaches of the Malaysian peninsular. A lively group of guys.
The Kuala Lipis teacher training institute is nestled in the hills just out of town. Its quite a nice campus. If you find yourself driving past its entrance on the road to Kelantan, I recommend you take a drive around the campus but I think you may have to talk the guard into letting you in.
A bridge in the middle of the campus between the main building and the hostels.
