What Answers They Need to Hear

I read in the Sun newspaper this morning that some Chinese (as in from China not from Kuala Kubu Baru) created a scene at the MH370 press conference yesterday.  The paper and other reports I read today are somewhat sympathetic but I do sense something that they did not say, an emotion that we Malaysians call Menyampah. Between the wailing and such, they did ask a few questions and I quote these from the Sun newspaper.
1.       One of them said, “I have now been here for 12 days and we want answers from Malaysia Airlines and the Malaysian government.  I am not here to eat and play”.
I do agree that the MAS and the Government should give them the answers that they want but not true answers, not the answers that they necessarily want to hear.  Some say that the government and MAS have been giving different answers every day and sometimes contradicting themselves. Okay, just tell them the truth:
a.       MH370 is still missing.
b.       Nobody knows what actually happened onboard.
c.       The Search for MH370 is still in progress
d.       No concrete leads have been found
e.       Several red herrings and false clues were found and they were informed to the public
f.        These clues have been proven to be unrelated to MH370 and this have been informed to the public, hence some of the contradictions.
g.       No one knows where the plane is at the moment
h.       They are not even 100% sure that they are looking in the right place.
i.         There has been many theories about plane ranging from simple and logical ones to bizarre ones. They all remain theories.
2.       They, said the paper, were making claims “of insufficient information on their loved ones”.  I think the authorities may need to clarify the situation involving their relatives.  This means informing them of the following:
a.       The authorities are confident that their relatives were onboard MH370
b.       The authorities are confident that their relatives went missing along with MH370 when the plane when missing.
c.       The plane remains missing and, as such, everyone on board, including their relatives, are still missing.
d.       The authorities do not know if their relatives are still alive or dead.  This is because the authorities do not know what happened to MH370
e.       Neither the authorities nor everybody else knows where they are
f.        Some say they are taken by terrorists, this is just another theory or speculation, until it is proven to be true or false, it remains a theory or speculation, no more, no less.
3.       They have been counseled before released, said the paper.  I think they may need to look a little deeper into minds, I am sure there is a psychiatrist among the counselors there.

Finally, I have a question for them. What good to the search for MH370 did your actions yesterday bring?
