Now Comes.the Paranoia

So, they are going house to house, stone by stone in Lahad Datu. Thiis morning the a leader of the Malaysian Suluks came out to state their allegiance and condemn the invasion. On FB, I read a couple of keyboard warriors asking how many of them are really in Malaysia. Ah yes, I thought. Here comes the paranoia. Here comes the images of concentration camps with barbed wires and torture chambers. The smell of gas chambers being opened to clear out the bodies. The human experimentation  I can almost see these guys snuggling up to a nice human skin bound copy of Mein Kampf in their air-conditioned bedrooms.

With that aside. Is paranoia justified. I think it may be thoroughly justified to some extent. Just consider the sheer stupidity of the entire escapade.
They came armed. They refused peaceful talks. They ambushed and killed out security forces. What did they expect?
So, now they have been attacked they are claiming that they are hurt. How stupid are these Tausugs / Suluks anyway? From where I stand, they are looking very much like extremely ill-educated and ill-informed but thoroughly emotional bunch of war-mongering nation of pirates.
It seems obvious to me that the motives behind Kiram's invasion is economic. Sulu is a poor place, they have been benefitting from the MNLF fight. Now that that fight has been settled, they are looking for a new source of income. Suddenly, the Cobol referendum has no meaning.

If Sulu is a poor place, then yea the motives would be economic. regarding paranoia.. I would think they would be.. consideringbthey attacked first.. what did they expect.. hugs and kisses? However I feel that paranoia in it self is a survival extinct. Still wrong what he did tho.. and very stupid.
