Something evil this way comes

I read a most distressing report today: it was news report on a designer drug called ‘Crocodile’ coming out of Russia.  I had not heard of it in Malaysia but in Russia it, according to the report, has reached plague proportions and now it has made its way to the US.  This may mean that it is only a matter of time before we see it here.

We have all probably seen the effects of drugs before; the living skeleton, severe cramps et cetera, this however is something else.  This drug rots the user alive.  We are talking about flesh rotting off the body and falling off the bones.  Bodies dying and rotting piece by piece from the inside out while the person remains alive to feel the pain and watch as piece by piece of the body fall off.  Its called crocodile because it turns the skin greenish and scaly as the skin slowly dies away.   

Based on the patterns seen in Russia and the US, it is probable the drug will find its way here easily because it does not need to be produced in labs.  It can be made at home by cooking codeine from over the counter medication and with several other easily available materials.  Of course, you would need some knowledge to do it but then again, heavy drug users are doing it in Russia and the US, how hard can it be?

In addition to that, the materials you need to make this vile concoction are dead cheap compared to heroin, cocaine or the other street drugs, so in Russia the desperate drug users resort to it when they cannot buy the real stuff. Unfortunately, sometimes they cannot turn back.  The effects of this potion are much more profound than that of any of the readily available drugs on the streets, even crack cocaine.
